Hairy Beast Dog Pawlour

"Thank You For Supporting Small Businesses And Grooming Locally."

About Us

Hairy Beast Dog Pawlour has been Aurora’s favorite grooming destination since opening in 2017—but our roots go back even further. With more than a decade of professional grooming experience, we set out to create a space where every dog feels safe, loved, and pampered from the moment they walk through the door. What began as a passion for helping pets look and feel their best has grown into a trusted local “pawlour” known for exceptional service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Our team specializes in complete grooming services, from full spa treatments and deshedding to convenient walk-in care such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing. We take pride in treating each pup like family, tailoring every service to their comfort and unique needs.

At Hairy Beast, the finishing touches matter just as much as the groom itself. Every bandanna, bow tie, and tie is handcrafted to give your furry friend a personalized, stylish look they can show off with pride. And for pet parents who want to spoil their companions a little extra, our signature Royal Treatment delivers a luxurious, feel-good experience fit for four-legged royalty.

From the smallest pups to the biggest personalities, Hairy Beast Dog Pawlour is committed to making every visit special. Because here, every pet is more than a client—they’re part of our story, and forever part of our family.

I have been going to Hairy Beast Dog Pawlour since they opened 8 years ago. I followed owner Josue from his old groomer job at PetCo. He is THAT good! He diagnosed one of my dogs with cancer, finding a lump while grooming him. I hadnt even noticed! I trust Josue and Veronica with my pets completely! Try them. You wont be disappointed!

My dog Gatsby is the biggest baby just to get his nails trimmed. The owners Josue and Veronica are so patient and kind with my bundle of spotted nerves. They talk to him the entire time and help him feel safe. No matter when you go in or who is doing the grooming you will witness professional compassion and every dog being treated like it is their own. Pets are not just pets ,but family and the staff at Hairy Beast honor that.

Helping Your Dog Enjoy Grooming Appointments

Helpful tips for introducing dogs to grooming and building positive experiences that last a lifetime.

Introducing grooming at a young age helps puppies become comfortable with brushing, bathing, nail trimming, and handling.
Maintaining a regular grooming schedule helps establish familiarity and reduces anxiety over time.
Positive reinforcement before and after appointments can help associate grooming with enjoyable experiences.
Pet owners should communicate any sensitivities, fears, or special needs to groomers so services can be tailored appropriately.
A comfortable grooming experience helps build trust and creates a lifelong foundation for healthy pet care habits.

Why Regular Grooming Is Essential for Your Dog's Health

Discover how routine grooming supports your dog's health, comfort, appearance, and overall quality of life

Regular grooming does much more than keep your dog looking great. Professional grooming helps remove dirt, debris, loose fur, and buildup that can impact your pet's comfort and overall well-being.
Consistent coat care can help identify potential skin concerns early, including dry patches, irritation, lumps, or parasites that may otherwise go unnoticed between veterinary visits.
Nail trimming is an important part of routine maintenance. Overgrown nails can affect your dog's posture, mobility, and comfort during everyday activities.
Ear cleaning and teeth brushing services help support overall hygiene and can reduce common issues associated with neglected ear and oral care.
Professional groomers understand breed-specific coat requirements and can recommend customized care solutions that keep your dog healthy, comfortable, and looking their best year-round.
